Join All-Con for 3 Full Days of Convention Fun

The 2009 All-Con Art Gallery will be open Friday from 1pm to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITING ARTISTS

Art should be of a science fiction, fantasy, horror, or humorous nature. All-Con does not have an area appropriate for adult-themed art for 2009, and so will not accept it for display.

Subject matter must not violate exiting copyrights or trademarks.

To protect your artwork, please mount it carefully. For reasons of liability, artwork that is not mounted properly will not be accepted for the gallery. Unless hanging devices are already on the artwork, binder clips will be used to mount the artwork to the pegboards. If you have framed artwork (no glass, please) be sure to provide a hanging wire. Nail hangers will not work with art gallery hooks.

All artwork must be your own. Only the Artist or her/his agent may sell work. Checks will be made out to the Artist, unless otherwise requested.

Prints and reproductions may be entered. They must all be signed and numbered. Only one copy of each design will be hung in the show. Extra copies will go to the Print Shop.

All works must be submitted as either "Not For Sale" (NFS) are for sale at a fixed price (quick sale). All-Con does not offer an auction format for 2009.

Artwork does not need to be matted (but sells better that way). All 2D artwork, including Print Shop pieces needs to bear your name, its title, and a price-tag. There is no additional charge to put pieces in the Print Shop. A maximum of 25 Print Shop pieces will be accepted per matching piece on display.

Art may be mailed in or brought in. You don't need to be a member of the convention unless you plan to attend (which we encourage). We must receive mailed entries prior to March 7th, 2009. Do not mail your art to the hotel. Send it to:

Todd Carlton
403 Matlock Meadow Drive
Arlington, Texas 76002

Local artists may bring their art directly to the hotel.

Return postage and shipping insurance is your responsibility and you must pay it in advance. Any excess payment will be refunded to the Artist. You may pick up your unsold pieces after the Art Gallery, or pay return postage and we will return your work in your own packaging. Unsold artwork will be return shipped on or before April 10, 2009. We will ship your art via the same carrier you used unless otherwise instructed.

Checks will be mailed to artists on or before April 10, 2009.

We reserve the right to reject any work for any reason.

Fees: The first 1/2 table (approximately 3'x30") or 4'x4' panel is $25. Each additional 1/2 table or 4'x4' panel is $15. Print shop sales are charged a flat $3 per piece sold. No additional commissions or hanging fees are charged. Sales tax is collected and paid by All-Con to the state of Texas.

Art Gallery space cannot be reserved until payment is made. A check may be enclosed with application, or payment may be made through PayPal to the address:  register@All-Con.org
